Teaching Statement

I  believe that as a teacher I have the duty to pass down clear and  accurate information to students and  help them achieve their goals in  the most effective way. 

I teach my students as if I had the opportunity to go back in time and teach my young self. 

I  want students not only to be proficient instrumentalists, composers and  musicians but also to enjoy music with passion and love. 

As a high school guitar teacher, my main goal for my students to enjoy music and for them to be good people and learn values through music. 

Some of my students have won various state guitar competitions like the TCSAAL Guitar competition. I have also prepared students to audition and go to college or other prestigious High Schools like Booker T. Washington.
